Ganeinu
Early Learning Centre
Located in St Ives, Sydney's North Shore, Ganeinu has been a community cornerstone since 2008. Now based at 27 College Crescent, part of Chabad North Shore, we offer a nurturing, inclusive environment for children aged 2 months to 6 years.
In 2020, Ganeinu was rated as "Exceeding" the National Quality Standard for Education and Care, including our After School and Vacation Care program, Gan Izzy. In October 2024, we were once again rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standard.
We embrace all families, embedding Jewish values into our diverse program. With flexible hours between 7:30 am – 6:00 pm, secure facilities, fresh Kosher meals, and enriching excursions, we focus on the whole child’s development—physical, social, emotional, and cognitive.

Ganeinu Programs
Our Approach at Ganeinu
At Ganeinu, we balance play-based learning, structured activities, and creative exploration in both indoor and outdoor settings. Our programs are tailored to children's interests, fostering skills in creativity, problem-solving, and discovery. Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, we take a "Whole Child" approach, focusing on each child's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs, with input from parents.
"Morah Time" introduces Jewish culture, traditions, and Hebrew through songs, stories, and experiences, culminating in a special Shabbat celebration each Friday morning.
Our programs also incorporate:
- Munch & Move: A NSW Health initiative promoting physical activity and healthy habits.
- Letterland: A pre-literacy phonics program that makes learning fun through engaging stories.
- Yoga: Helping children develop relaxation, balance, coordination, and mindfulness.
We communicate with parents via the Kinderm8 app, sharing daily updates, photos, and progress.
Commitment to Child Safety
Ganeinu-Gan Izzy is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive environment where all children feel secure. We handle any concerns transparently, ensuring emotional, physical, and cultural safety for every child.
